Meet Christian
On August 25, 1993, Christian Collins was born in Boynton Beach, Florida, with a rare genetic disease called Fanconi Anemia. His early years were filled with visits to hospitals all around the United States for treatments and surgeries. At two years old, his parents were told he wouldn’t live past the age of four. But Christian was always the exception. At the age of seven, he underwent a bone marrow transplant in Berlin, Germany that helped put his immediate life-threatening issues behind him.
As he defied all odds and grew older, Christian became an inspirational leader serving as a national spokesperson for Caddy For A Cure. He even spread his message as a caddy for Bubba Watson at The Masters golf tournament. His love of law enforcement guided him to serve as a member of the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office and, later, to launch a security company, Nighthawk Services.
Christian always had a deep love for family, the military, and law enforcement - not to mention his animals, hockey, golf, western US history, food, and talking. He was an inspirational example, making the most of his twenty-four bonus years by loving life, caring for people, building deep relationships and sharing his love of Jesus.
Christian’s heart of loving service will always guide us as we help the law enforcement community he cared for so much..
