A word from a few of our families

“Our family is so incredibly thankful for the support and love that Christian’s Touch has given to us as our son continues to battle a brain tumor. Christian’s Touch is such a unique and amazing organization in how they provide services and support for Law Enforcement families who have needs. Our son Ezra has was diagnosed in 2018 and now, over four years later, he continues to fight this tumor with chemotherapy. As a law enforcement family, it can be very difficult to make ends meet. We have been extremely grateful to have the opportunity for Travis to continue to do the job he loves while Ramona is unable to work with Ezra’s numerous appointments and continuous care. Christian’s Touch have gone above and beyond to show our family love, they have even sent our children Christmas gifts and this month they sent a birthday present to our oldest daughter Amie. We don’t have enough words for how thankful we are for them and all that they do to support us and law enforcement families like us. It’s one big family that we are so fortunate and proud to be a part of. Thank you so very much to Francine and her whole crew.”

“When my wife was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital and our son was delivered 3 weeks later was when we realized we were going to need a lot more help than we thought. With having no family in state and a toddler at home, I was encouraged to reach out for help from the foundation. Our son was unexpectedly born 3 and a half months early. Between trying to work, going back and forth to the hospital and trying to maintain some sort of consistency for our toddler, this has been a very tough road. It took a lot of persuading but we are thoroughly grateful that I did ultimately decide to accept the help from the foundation. As we know, time doesn’t stop for anything so the help the foundation has provided has alleviated a lot for our household. As we still anxiously wait for a discharge date we were able to better prepare and plan for when that time finally comes. Francine with the foundation has been great and still continues to check in on us and we really appreciate it.”

“Thanks so much to Christian’s Touch Foundation! In May of 2022, my husband suffered an unexpected heart attack at the age of 37. In July, he had to have heart surgery. He was completely out of work for over 4 months. Although I was working and taking care of our 3 children, my paycheck wasn’t enough to support our family of 5. I am so thankful we reached out to Christian’s Touch because I know for a fact that we could not have done this alone. Because of their support, we are slowly getting back on our feet. We will be forever grateful for this amazing organization and the amazing people who run it!”

“Hello my name is Jason Cuda and I am a proud serving Deputy Officer in the great state of Georgia. Service to people has always been my background in life. On November 18th 2022 my life changed drastically. I was assaulted on duty leading to 6 broken bones and major surgery. My job has workman's comp but the small amount it paid me did not even cover my mandatory bills to keep a roof over my head and survive. I reached out to Christians Touch on advice from a co-worker. I did not expect much or to be chosen and helped. To my surprise I was contacted by the people of Christians Touch. They listened to my story and we're extremely caring to all my needs. In the end, all they wanted to do was give me aid. Hesitantly I accepted, but it has made all the difference in my life. I do not have to move and it has helped with the financial stress and burden I have been through. Being an Officer, especially during these turbulent times is quite difficult. But by having such caring and helpful organizations like, "Christians Touch", I can rebuild my health and get back to the job I treasure dearly. Thank you Christians Touch. You have forever changed my life.”

"In the early morning of April, 18th 2023, my husband was on his way home after a 12 hour shift. He was within miles of our house when I heard him come across the scanner calling into dispatch notifying them, he was hit and needed an ambulance. I jumped from my bed, dressed and sped to the accident scene. Needless to say, our world has been turned upside down as he has faced recovery and healing while also dealing with maintaining bills and general life. We were very blessed that a friend of mine almost immediately saw that we would have needs that would cause insurmountable stress and put me in touch with Christian’s Touch. I was very hesitant because, like most law enforcement families, we are used to reaching out and helping. Not asking others for help. My pride stood in the way. But Francine spoke to me several times and put that thought process aside and eased my concerns. From the very beginning, this family has been a Godsend to my husband and myself. Not only did they step in and help us stay on top of bills that would have fallen behind, but they have also been a friend, a sounding board, advisor, and a counselor. It has become blatantly obvious that sometimes God sends other people to stand in the fire with you. Francine and her family have done just that with my husband and myself. They continue to guide me and when I am feeling overwhelmed, Francine has been that calm voice. As my husband continues to heal so that he can return to active duty, they are there, responding to my texts and my questions and they are there helping us. There aren’t enough words in the English language to express my gratitude and thankfulness for not only this family but the young man that they honor in their quest to help law enforcement families."

Back last November, I went through a very challenging time with my health. I felt the stress of being out of work, bills were due all of that. Christians touch reached out to me and though I’m very stubborn pleaded to help me with any issues or concerns. They were with me every step of the way. In a very lonely time of my life as well as hard they did not make me feel alone. The numerous calls and texts did not go unnoticed and gave me a sense of happiness. I am very indebted to this family. I believe 100% they were sent by a higher power to be there for me. I do not think a thank you is enough but they do these things just out of the love in their hearts."
